Well the guys and dolls at seedin central seem to have gotten this one right. The Will v. Will final match up if between the number 1 and 2 seeds.

Honestly, I could live with either result. My son, however, will be crushed if Hancock does not win… he has thins thing where being indestructible is supposed to mean you can’t lose… or something.

Now this is a battle! Personally I can’t believe that Troy Brad Pitt fell to a #7 seed, but I guess he does have that troublesome heel. They are both “cut up”, and wear blood pretty well. Troy BP is a bit more puffed up but Tyler Durden is a machine. I could see this one going either way.

This is another one that seemed like a total mismatch to me. Professional assassin Brad Pitt against the monkey guy, come on??? But even the seeding group liked the unexpected and unpredictable “crazy” aspect of the 12 Monkeys better, giving him the slightly higher seed in this opening round match up of the most closely rated seeds.

v. #3 seed Meet Joe Black Brad Pitt
From my perspective, Meet Joe Black Brad Pitt has to be the overwhelming favorite here, in fact I’m not sure how he fell to a #3 seed. Honestly, despite looking a little too much like Robert Redford, he brings some serious supernatural powers to the game. However, the point was brought up during the seeding round that what Joe offers in super powers he gives back in sentimentality and general softness. Oceans 11 Brad Pitt is an emotionally hardened criminal (note the ink!!) who was willing to cut his best friend free over a girl. So perhaps this is more of a contest than it appears to be at first glance.
